The 36th HKTDC Food Expo 2026 will be grandly held from 13 to 17 August 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wan Chai. This annual signature event brings together global culinary delights, features the classic "HK$1 Mega Deals" with limited quantities, and grants access to multiple concurrent exhibitions with a single ticket. Expo Highlights & Specialized Zones • Classic HK$1 Deals: Exhibitors traditionally roll out hyper-limited flash sales on opening day, featuring items like HK$1 abalone, HK$1 fish maw, and mega snack lucky bags. • Coffee Zone: Returning by popular demand, this zone gathers premium coffee beans, professional roasting and brewing equipment, as well as artisanal roasting brands from local and overseas markets. • Halal Food & Beverage Zone: Showcasing certified halal products from over a hundred international suppliers to meet diverse dietary needs. • Food Science & Technology Zone: Focusing on cutting-edge food tech, this zone exhibits specialized soft meals suitable for the elderly, swallowing-assistant foods, and alternative future proteins. Food Expo Public Hall & Gourmet Zone Opening Hours: • 13–16 August (Thursday to Sunday): 10:00am to 10:00pm • 17 August (Monday): 10:00am to 6:00pm • Note: Final admission stops 45 minutes before the daily closing time. Ticketing Details Public visitors holding a Food Expo ticket can simultaneously visit four concurrent exhibitions held at the same venue, including the Home Delights Expo, Beauty & Wellness Expo, and the Hong Kong International Tea Fair. • Standard Ticket (Public Hall): HK$30 • Combo Ticket (Public Hall + Gourmet Zone): HK$40 • Pre-sale Combo Ticket Discount: Available at a promotional price of HK$36 when pre-purchased through designated retail or ticketing channels from today (30 July) to 12 August 2026. • Free Entry: Children aged 3 or below and senior citizens aged 65 or above enter for free. Single Entry & Re-entry Restriction • No Re-entry Allowed. Once your ticket is scanned and you exit the exhibition halls, the ticket becomes invalid. You cannot leave the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and return later using the same ticket. Venue Access & Cut-off Times • Same-Day Access Only. The Combo Ticket grants entry to the Food Expo Public Hall, Gourmet Zone, Home Delights Expo, Beauty & Wellness Expo, and the Hong Kong International Tea Fair on the same day of use. • Strict Last Admission. There is no admission to the venue 45 minutes prior to the daily closing time. Even with a valid ticket, gates close at 9:15pm (13–16 August) and at 5:15pm on the final day (17 August). Age Exemptions & Restrictions • Free Entry Conditions. Children aged 3 or below and senior citizens aged 65 or above do not need to purchase a ticket and are admitted free of charge. • Trade Zone Restrictions. While public halls are open to all, any combo ticket holder visiting the "Food Expo PRO" (Hall 5) on 15 August must note that visitors under 18 will not be admitted to this trade area.
